What does rationality look like in a person? (1 response)
Rationality in a person looks much the same as quiet confidence. It isn't boastful or pretentious, but humble and calm. Rationality listens kindly, and then, when it has heard another point of view, instead of saying "No, you're wrong...this is the way it works.", rationality takes it in and then responds, "Good point. I wonder if one could consider this angle, or this point of view." And then listens again, and responds again, each time drawing closer and closer to evidence and reason whilst continuing to support the other person's right to arrive at his/her opinion...rationally.
