What does respect look like in a society? (1 response)

Respect in a society means not targeting others for hatred, persecution or violence, even when vehemently disagreeing with that person's ideology, or even finding that person or group's ideology, if sincerely held, to be morally reprehensible. One may freely dispute another's ideology, and dispute it vigorously, but one may not publicly impune the person or the group to which he belongs as long as they are sincere.
