Thoughts, Interests and Activities:
I am Muslim Sufi minister at Interfaith Community Church and adjunct faculty at Seattle University. My passion is to help foster a living, breathing interfaith community at our house of worship. I enjoy leading workshops, retreats, and teaching classes that enable us to transform our ego, open up our hearts, and connect with our life purpose. In community, we discover creative ways to make all of life a spiritual practice. I am also passionate about sharing the universal message of Islam and Sufism with people of other faiths. I speak regularly at other houses of worship and offer seminars on this subject. Also I collaborate extensively with Rabbi Ted Falcon and Pastor Don MacKenzie in interfaith programs locally, nationally, and internationally. I do pastoral counseling, officiate at interfaith weddings, and lead ceremonies and services dealing with life passages. I enjoy writing and I have written three books on Islam and interfaith understanding.

What I'm About
