And the history we've left behind
Makes us stand fast and strong

To whom greater can we turn to
Or in whom wiser can we find
Than the One now with us to lead us

Christ gives us hope
Beyond all doubt
And we give Him praise
For bringing us out

The song of a merry heart

The vision of a calm sea

The joy of a new birth

Such miracles amaze me

All who know their Creator as Love
Wise as the serpent
Yet harmless as the dove
Are free at HOME above

Ears are hearing a living hope

And new eyes now see

That which was a distant dream

Now is reality

As I watched a mother teaching her child to walk
I saw anticipation and excitement swell with each step
When the child would fall, it was not applauded
But immediately brought to its feet with tender help

Now I am persuaded resilience is a learned behavior
Because a child beginning to walk must decide to excel
Therefore the mentor motivates maturity which concludes
That a fall is never a decision to fail!
