Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

A human being is part of the whole called by us 'universe', a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self [ego]. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.

This is the duty of our generation as we enter the twenty-first century -- solidarity with the weak, the persecuted, the lonely, the sick, and those in despair. It is expressed by the desire to give a noble and humanizing meaning to a community in which all members will define themselves not by their own identity but by that of others.

The Internet is like alcohol in some sense. It accentuates what you would do anyway. If you want to be a loner, you can be more alone. If you want to connect, it makes it easier to connect.

. . . Will matter then be destroyed or not? 22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved again into their own roots. 23) For the nature of matter is resolved into the roots of its own nature alone.

Just as the wave cannot exist for itself, but must always participate in the swell of the ocean, so we can never experience life by ourselves, but must always share the experience of life that takes place all around us.

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus -- and nonbelievers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

You work that you may keep pace with the earth and the soul of the earth. For to be idle is to become a stranger unto the seasons, and to step out of life's procession, that marches in majesty and proud submission toward the infinite.
It is a natural aspect of the world’s design that life forms are interdependent. If compassion means empathic awareness of that natural interconnection, then compassion is a law of nature we cannot deny. If we want to live in harmony with the logic of our world, we can’t ignore the parts of us that are custodians of the earth and our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers. We’re responsible for one another’s wellbeing whether we choose to act in accordance with that responsibility or not, because our wellbeing is inescapably collective.
Let us, then, fellow-citizens, unite with one heart and one mind. Let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty and even life itself are but dreary things. And let us reflect that, having banished from our land that religious intolerance under which mankind so long bled and suffered, we have yet gained little if we countenance a political intolerance as despotic, as wicked, and capable of as bitter and bloody persecutions.

We are born in this world to lose as well as to gain, to have
happiness as well as misery. Enrich your mind by understanding this and
improve, gaining stability thereby.
Receptivity and sensitiveness are what makes one’s behaviour endearing and enriching. Do not try to thrust your likes and dislikes on others. Try instead, to find out what those around would expect from you and where you can possibly contribute. Rather than feeling conflict or confrontation every time, look for and generate greater notes of harmony.
Harmony is
pure love, for love is a concerto.
One must
marry one's feelings to one's beliefs and ideas. That is probably the only way
to achieve a measure of harmony in one's life.
A family
is a place where minds come in contact with one another. If these minds love
one another the home will be as beautiful as a flower garden. But if these
minds get out of harmony with one another it is like a storm that plays havoc
with the.
There is a saying that Heaven is internal, humanity external and Virtue comes from the Heavenly.
Know Heaven and humanity's actions, root yourself in Heaven and follow Virture.
Then you can bend, stretch, rush forward or hold back, because you will always return to the core and it will be said you have achieved the supreme.
