Caring

next
Caring is letting things matter to us, including other people. It means valuing their well-being and acting with attention to their needs. When we care about someone or something, we carry a consciousness of what can harm them and what is needed for them to flourish. We show people we care with acts of kindness and words that let them know with words that we are thinking about them. Our caring can comfort others even when neither of us has the power to change a difficult situation. We can also care deeply about principles or goals. In these cases two, we carry an awareness of what can put these at risk or help them to be fulfilled. We reveal what we care about in what we do. Related virtues: Compassion, Determination.
Caring
When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.
