Grace

previous next

Grace is a delicate balance of words and actions that expresses our dignity and affirms the dignity of those around us. When we are gracious, we choose our words thoughtfully. We move through the world with poise and restraint.

Grace is often a quality of leaders who can rise above conflict or competition, remaining calm and kind despite the chaos that swirls around them. Grace protects against reactivity and excess. We inspire a sense of harmony and comfort in those who experience our grace.

Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

I have decided to love. If you are seeking the highest good, I think you can find it through love. And the beautiful thing is that we are moving against wrong when we do it, because John was right, God is love. He who hates does not know God, but he who has love has the key that unlocks the door to the meaning of ultimate reality.
